A good follow up to Nine Elms。 Took me just a little longer to get into the story but I devoured the second half of the book。 I like Kate Marshall as an investigator and look forward to how she a Tristan will set up a business。

Shadow Sands by Robert Bryndza This book is a brilliant follow up to Nine Elms， having read both books back to back I really enjoyed both。 I love Kate as a character， and really looking forward to the 3rd book in the series。 This book kept me guessing， and my heart thumping as I read the pages， a great read。

4。5 stars really。 Another excellent story with twists and tension as well as believable characters who have their own family backstories but they don’t hinder the main plot。 It helps if you’ve read book 1 but there’s enough information to make this stand on its own。looking forward to book 3。
